Status: As a result of increased activities throughout the UK , we have vacancies for Cable Percussion drilling foremen and assistants. The position will require you to carry out Cable Percussion boring, sampling, in-situ testing, and installation of instrumentation, working on land and marine investigation sites throughout the UK and overseas, using modern drilling and testing equipment with support from our offices in Wallingford and Consett.

Drilling foremen will be required to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and competence. Assistants do not need to have previous experience but should be willing to work away from home with some weekend working also required.

BDA Accreditation / NVQ Level 2 Lead Driller qualification is necessary for foremen drillers, although BDA accreditation without NVQ qualifications would be supported in obtaining this.

Assistant drillers will be given appropriate training towards obtaining the NVQ Level 2 Driller qualification.

The position will require you to carry out Rotary Core drilling, open hole drilling and rotary percussive drilling, in-situ testing, and installation of instrumentation, working on sites throughout the UK and overseas, using modern drilling and testing equipment with support from our offices in Wallingford and Consett.

Drilling foremen will be required to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and competence. Assistants do not need to have previous experience but should be willing to work away from home with some weekend working also required.

Status: We are seeking operators for our Geoprobe equipment and Terrier mini-rig to work in our Geoenvironmental department, based in Wallingford. A first class remuneration package is available. Applicants would need to have some experience of operating window sampling or small percussion drilling rigs. We require applicants to be reliable, good communicators and willing to learn. Full training will be given on the use of our drilling rigs. All applicants should be willing to work away from home with some weekend working also required.
